What Crews Out does

Your crew asks for time off in Crews Out and sends it to you on WhatsApp; you approve with one tap and the day is blocked in Jobber.

Crews Out handles time off for crews that run on Jobber. Every message goes from someone's own phone, in WhatsApp or Messages. There's no app number and nothing to install.

How it goes

  1. Someone on your crew opens Crews Out, taps the day on a calendar, and taps what it's for: vacation, sick, personal or unpaid.
  2. Crews Out shows the days they'd have left. They tap Send to you, and their WhatsApp opens with the request and your approve link filled in.
  3. You tap the link and press Approve. No sign-in.
  4. The time off goes on their Jobber schedule and comes off their balance. On the same screen, Tell them and Tell the crew open your WhatsApp with the message filled in.

Who does what

  • The office (owners and office staff) signs in, connects Jobber, picks who approves, sets the types and days, and invites the crew. Requests shows who's off for the next two weeks.
  • Approvers answer from the link in the message. They don't need to sign in.
  • The crew signs in once from their invite and asks from their phone.

What it never does

  • Send a message by itself. You press send, every time.
  • Put anything on Jobber before a request is approved.
  • Read your WhatsApp, your texts, or anything in Jobber besides your team and your account's name.
