Crews Out for AI assistants
Your crew’s time off, from your AI assistant
Use Claude, ChatGPT or Muse? Connect Crews Out once, then just ask it who's off, or for Friday off.
Connect
Connect once.
First, the office connects Jobber to Crews Out, and each person on the crew joins from their invite. Then anyone can connect their own assistant.

Your assistant signs in with OAuth. No key to paste or keep.
Claude
- Press Add to Claude. Claude opens with Crews Out filled in; press Add.
- Press Connect, sign in to Crews Out and press Allow.
- In a chat, press +, then Connectors, and turn Crews Out on.
Works on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan an Owner adds it once, then each person presses Connect.
ChatGPT
- Tap Copy and open ChatGPT. The address is copied and ChatGPT's settings open on the web.
- If Developer mode is off, turn it on under Security and login.
- Open Plugins and press +. Name it Crews Out, paste the address, choose OAuth and create it.
- Sign in to Crews Out and press Allow.
- In a chat, press +, choose Developer mode, and pick Crews Out.
Needs ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu, on the web. On a work plan an admin may have to allow developer mode first. ChatGPT asks before it asks for time off for you. Developer mode is needed only until Crews Out is in ChatGPT's app directory; then you add it from ChatGPT's apps instead.
Muse
- Press Copy for Muse, then paste it into a Muse chat and send it.
- When Muse opens Crews Out, sign in and press Allow.
- Ask Muse who is off this week in Crews Out, to check it works.
Muse asks before it uses the connector. If it asks for an API key, tell it Crews Out signs in with OAuth instead.
What it does
What your assistant can do.
Say it the way you would say it to the office:
“Who's off next week? And ask for Friday off for me, vacation.”
See who's off, or has asked to be, day by day, with your company holidays.
whos_offCheck your own days left for each type, and what you have coming up.
my_time_offAsk for time off for you. It reads the days and the type back first, saves it, and hands you the link that opens your own WhatsApp to send it.
ask_for_time_offlist_time_off_typesMove or cancel your own time off, with the link to tell your approver, and the crew if it was booked.
change_my_time_offcancel_my_time_offFor approvers and the office: what's waiting on you, each with the one-tap approve link to tap yourself.
list_requestsget_requestFor the office: the crew, who approves, who has joined, and everyone's days left.

What it can't do
- Approve or deny time off. Only an approver can, with one tap on the link. Your assistant hands you the link.
- Send a message. Crews Out never sends anything: every message opens on your own phone with the words filled in, and you press send.
- See more than you can. The office sees the company. Someone on the crew sees their own time off, who's off, and what waits on them if they approve.

Does it send messages for me?
No. Crews Out never sends a message. Your assistant hands you a link that opens your own WhatsApp with the words filled in.
Can everyone on the crew connect their own?
